Outfit of the Day: Green Gingham Meets Riding Boots

The composition of my weekend shopping outfit consists of...

H&M Green Gingham Flannel Shirt - Size 2
(For more pictures, you can check out Extra Petite who did a review on this green flannel shirt.  H&M offers it in pink and blue as well. See link here.)
H&M Knit Blazer - Size 2
Silence & Noise Skinny Jeans - Size 24
Gap Kids Leather Belt
Aldo Riding Boots - Size 6

I wanted to dress comfortable enough for all the walking and carrying that shopping generally entails so I slipped into my Aldo riding boots. In addition, it was going to be a long day with a dinner meet-up planned for the evening.  So even though the warming weather probably would have been heel friendly, I didn't want to risk being sore at the end of the day.

The pop of green from the gingham shirt under the black blazer is fun but still put together.  The shirt is stretchy and soft - which leaves ample room for a big dinner later on. haha I'm excited to see how versatile this shirt can really be and how it can be incorporated into office outfits.
