A Quick Aldo Shoes Review

I've always stalked Aldo's website for boots, flats, and heels.  In an honest review, their shoes are not designed with comfort as a top priority.  But the material is decent for sale prices. And their styles are so diverse that I almost always find something that I like - now it's just a matter of whether or not I like the price tag. Hence, I use the word "stalk" because I patiently wait for $100+ pumps drop till I can take them home for around $20!

My last purchase from Aldo included these lovely oxford heels: Mondella - Size 6. Amazingly, these are super comfortable.  The 2.5 inch block heel gives me stable steps and extra height. At the current price of $31.49 and a 10% additional discount with the code: LUCKYU31511, this drops down to $28.35.  Also, they have free shipping on any order. They will definitely make an appearance in pictures soon because I've been wearing these to death lately.

Here are some picks from Aldo that I am purchasing/considering/stalking.

This reminds me of the Clark's Water Row styles which I adored but looked terribly awkward in because the shaft height cut the lower portion of my legs short. It's quite unfortunate. But these Aldo alternatives seem to have a lower shaft and slimmer silhouette which may just be the modifications I need to rock these dessert booties.

I suspect that they're not at the lowest price that I can buy them for yet but I really want to try them on and see how they go with outfit pairings. If anything, Aldo has an awesome return policy - you can return unworn shoes in stores after ANY time.  Verdict: Ordered Both Online.

There are no more small sizes left for this style, only a size 10. But the color and shape of the pump seems like it will do wonders to elongate my short legs. Priced at $27.99 right now, I really wished they had a size 6 in stock.  However, Aldo reintroduced the Lomack in patent leather this season: Lomack in Taupe There are plenty sizes available. It's an alternative but I am still searching for the perfect nude pumps. Verdict: Hunt Down in Stores or Find Something Similar.

The heel on this one doesn't seem too frightening and it comes equipped with rubber soles and suede uppers. I will definitely check on these again for sales. My current black leather heels are all scratched up and crying out for retirement which means I must replace them soon. Verdict: Continue Stalking For Price Drops

  1. I feel the same way about aldo shoes, they can be so painful! I started wearing insoles and the padding makes it feel sooo much better.
